About the Course:
This course is intended to prepare students for Actuarial Exam 1 (Exam P as of Fall‘05), administered by the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society. In this class, materials from Statistics 134 / Statistics 101a, and the past examinations will be reviewed. Each session will consist of one hour of lecture and one hour of discussion. Grade (P/NP) will be based on attendance, class participation, and performance on homework, which will be assigned every week. It is expected that students who plan to sign up for this course have already taken Math 1A-B Math 53, and preferably Stat 134.
How to Enroll:
Come to the first meeting on Sept. 11 to get the CCN and CEC.
