About the Course:

In this DeCal, students will learn basic massage techniques from a certified massage therapist. Each session will consist of both instruction and hands-on practice. Throughout the semester, students will volunteer through Suitcase Clinic's Women's Clinic. At Women's Clinic, students will deliver massage to clients. Massage is a very popular service at the clinic, and we aim to provide high-quality assistance through our partnership with Suitcase Clinic.

Section will run for 2.5 hours on Thursday evenings from 5:30-8PM. Attendace at 10 out of 12 total sections is mandatory. Students are expected to actively participate at each section. Students must additionally volunteer at least 3 times at the Women's Clinic. Some written reflections, assignments, and practicals will be given throughout the semester.
