About the Course:

This class explores how the comic book/graphic novel format has been used as a medium of art and story-telling. Each week handles a different genre of comics, exploring from the common superhero type, to autobiographical works and even manga.

No prior comic knowledge is required, just an enthusiasm to learn.

Your performance will be evaluated based on your weekly written responses to the reading and your contribution to the class discussion. There will also be a final (but fun!) project stressing creativity (*NOT A PAPER*) at the end of the course.
