About the Course:
"Bond, James Bond." Those words are synonymous with a suave, daring, smart, and larger-than-life figure that has come to be a defining part of pop culture since the release of Dr. No in 1962. This course will simultaneously blend film showings with their literary inspirations to examine how the Bond franchise has mirrored world events, set trends in pop culture, and ultimately be able to form an opinion as to why James Bond has retained his popularity to this very day.
How to Enroll:
Enrollment is limited to 35 students, split evenly between upper and lower divisions. The application is available online at out website, the link to which is below. Applications will be evaluated after the first class and CCNs will be sent to those who qualify. Be sure to attend the first class if you want your application to be considered. Make sure you've read the syllabus so you know what you're signing up for here. If you have any questions, or just care to chat, do not hesitate to e-mail as well!
