Summer Schedule
Facilitating Fall 2008?
The DeCal Board is a student run organization that will, like you, be on vacation this summer. Here's important information for our summer process.
Submitting Your Course Proposal
If you have not submitted a course proposal by the end of the Spring 2008 academic semester, here are the following ways you can submit this summer:
IN PERSON - Eshelmann Hall will be open on a adjusted summer schedule at these times:
- Monday-Friday: 8:30-6:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00-6:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00-5:00pm
If no one is in the office, please slide your course proposal under our door
BY MAIL - You can send your course proposal to our office, at:
The DeCal Program
320 Eshleman Hall
Berkeley, CA 94704
Getting Your Course Online
Due to the volume of course proposals we receive each summer, we will be uploading courses in batches, on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will begin uploading following the Academic Senate's submission deadline, July 15th. Depending on when you submitted your course proposal, expect to see your course page available within the following dates:
For proposals submitted prior to or during May: July 16-29
For proposals submitted during June: July 30 - August 13
For proposals submitted between July and start of instruction: August 14 - September 9
For proposals submitted after start of instruction: First come, first serve
The DeCal Office will only accept courses proposals until September 10, 2008 for placement on the Fall 2008 course list.
Have a Great Summer!
A limited number of DeCal board members will be available during the summer. Please be patient! We will answer all email inquiries and course proposals as quickly as we can. Your understanding is appreciated.
