About the Course:

The goal of this course is to inform you about various issues and topics in sexuality, and to provide a safe place for discussion, tolerance, and understanding. Our primary goal is to interact, learn from, and understand multiple perspectives from various backgrounds, different sexual preferences, ideas, and influences. Our secondary goal is to discuss various sexual topics starting with the basics including anatomy, STIs, and safer sex, birth control, etc.

Learning Objectives:

1. To provide students with a broad base of knowledge in sexual health and sexuality.

2. To provide training and skill-building relevant to students’ role in participating in sexuality education projects.

3. To provide a supportive atmosphere for personal growth and learning in sexuality, gender identity, sexual orientation, and sexual health.

How to Enroll:

Acceptance into this DeCal is application based. Please download the application off this page and email the completed version to sheena_ann AT berkeley.edu by 5PM on Tuesday, September 7th. Those accepted into the DeCal will receive email confirmation by noon on Thursday, September 9th.
