About the Course:

The Female Sexuality decal is a course focused on empowerment and building a strong womyn's community.  Founded in 1994, Femsex strives to create a safe space that encourages and facilitates the ability of womyn to learn about their bodies, explore their sexuality, and expand their understanding of diversity.

The class relies on discussion, assignments, introspection, readings, and guest speakers to examine a variety of topics related to female sexuality.

We strongly believe that everyone stands something to gain from Femsex, so we encourage EVERYONE to apply!  This class can change your life!

How to Enroll:

In order to take this course, you MUST ATTEND the mandatory information sessions at the beginning of each semester.  Dates & times for the info session swill be made available on our website (femsex.net), decal.org, and our facebook group (search Female Sexuality Events) at the start of each semester.  Information about section times/dates and CCNs will be discussed at the info session.

**UPDATE**

The info sessions for the upcoming Fall 2010 Semester are as follows:

Wednesday, August 25th at 5pm and 7pm

Thursday, August 26th at 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm

Friday, August 27th from 10am to 4pm, every hour on the hour

**Please meet OUTSIDE the Gender Equity Resource Center (202 Cesar Chavez) and a facilitator will lead you to the designated classroom.  Information about section times/days will be provided during the session.
