About the Course:

The hepatitis B virus (HBV) affects approximately 10% of Asians and Asian-Americans. HBV is the major cause of liver cirrhosis and liver cancer, and is one of the greatest health disparities facing Asian communities worldwide.

The Jade Ribbon Campaign DeCal will provide opportunities for students to understand Hepatitis B issues and gain real-life public health outreach experience. Students will be working on campus and in the community to spread awareness and of hepatitis B.
