About the Course:

This course prepares students for the "From Your Kitchen and Beyond" water treatment competition to be held in the spring.  For the competition part of the class, we will learn about water treatment, use the lab equipment, and build test designs.  To spice things up a bit, we will also be going on field trips to learn about environmental issues and solutions such as recycled water and natural water treatment.  If you're interested in environmental issues and want to learn more about them, this class is ideal for you (and you can take it for 1 unit and avoid the competition part).  If you want to build a water treatment system or are an environmental engineer, also take this class and we'll teach you how! (If you take it for 2 units, you can get credit for playing with lab equipment and building mini systems.)

How to Enroll:

Please come to our first meeting on Tuesday, September 9th at 6pm in 502 Davis Hall. We will provide you with more information about the course and you will learn how to get CCN's and enroll!
