About the Course:

In this course we will be working closely with the Foundation for Sustainable Development in designing a project that we will go implement in Cochabamba, Bolivia during January 2009.  Throughout the course, we will study Bolivia’s history and culture, and development issues, while researching the Cochabamba region and working with the Bolivia site team to develop the project.  Our class will work on investigating proven, cost-effective, and creative ways to improve the community environment.  The goal of this course is to expose students who have great problem-solving and visual skills to areas of sustainable development and truly make an impact on communities in need.
