About the Course:
The problem of modern slavery and human trafficking is urgent and must be confronted. As students, the first step we can take to combat this injustice is to learn about it. Once we are equipped with a solid understanding of the issue, we can seek effective solutions for its eradication. The first half of the course will provide students with an overview of the history, types, economics, government regulations, and socio-cultural conditions pertaining to the modern slave trade. The emphasis of the second half of the course will be on the projects and student presentations. How to Enroll:
Our first meeting will be on Thursday, January 31st in 109 Wheeler. We will distribute Course Entry Codes on that day.Course Contact: modernslaverydecal AT gmail.com
