Fall 2016
Civil Engineering 98/198
2 Unit(s)

About the Course:

Concrete Canoe is a civil engineering competition team that, as the name suggests, builds a canoe out of concrete. (Yes, it floats.) Throughout the course we will design the hull, run structural analysis, construct a form for the canoe, train for races and the Berkeley Aquatic park, and develop and aethstetic design to wow the concrete canoe world. This all leads up to a competition against other universities in which we will put our canoe to the test!

Beyond being an incredible learning experience, concrete canoe is a community. When you join this decal, you are joining a team. We are made up of engineerings, artists, scientists, you name it, you're welcomed. So what are you waiting for? Grab a paddle.
