About the Course:

Premed 101 is for students looking to acquire a better understanding of the often confusing issues in the field of medicine as well as medical school application process.

The class will begin with a summary of the classes to take to be a successful premed, how to go about obtaining research/clinical experience, and how to do well on the MCAT. The class will shift later in the course on major issues in the field of medicine that are crucial to the day to day lives of being a physician.

Throughout this course you will hear from a myriad of informative speakers that are highly successful in their respective fields such as physicians, surgeons, premed counselors and medical school students. The 2 units will come from five homework assignments and attendance. There is more information on our course syllabus.

How to Enroll:

Premed 101 will be held in 159 Mulford every Wednesday 5-630.
