About the Course:

How did we get from the very first "illustrated song" in the 1890s to "Hotline Bling" in 2015?

Take this class and find out! Over the course of the semester we will explore developments in the artform, as well as common tropes and cultural influences both by and on music videos. We will also touch upon technical aspects of filmmaking, and at the end of the semester we will break up into teams and make our own music videos using what we've learned!

Please see syllabus for assignment and attendance information

For more information please see course website

How to Enroll:

Please fill out the enrollement form

Everyone who is interested in the course is encouraged to attend at least a part of the first class, CCNs and CECs will be emailed out after the first meeting, with priority given to those who have filled out the form.

It is therefore highly recommended you fill out the form, not only to get a CEC number, but also to potentially change the meeting time to something that works for more people who want to attend but can't.
