About the Course:

This is a 2-unit course which can be taken as either 98 or 198 and a grading option of P/PN. The class meets on Wednesdays 5:30-7:30 pm in 110 Barrows. The Course Control Number will be issued in class. An interactive course filled with debates and controversies….Media and Politics. This class makes students engage with great politicians and philosophers; Plato, Edward Said, Chomsky, and others going into the issues of media and the various models they present. The course is media based with response papers and a final paper (a topic of your choice), will meet once a week.

How to Enroll:

If you are interested in enrollment the class has a cap at 25 students with a mix of lower/upper division students. There are two separate course control numbers according to your class standing. Please e-mail me your information and why you are interested in taking this course, and I will be happy to give you the number to enroll.
