About the Course:

The Introduction to Leadership DeCal is the longest-running special studies business course at Cal. This will be our 12th semester.

The purpose of the Leadership and Organizational Dynamics DeCal is to provide students with an interactive approach to understanding leadership. This course gives students the opportunity to learn what leadership is, why leadership is important and how to develop their own leadership skills.

Although this class is affiliated with the Haas School of Business, the course curriculum provides an Interdisciplinary approach to the study of leadership. We encourage students from all majors to apply.

How to Enroll:

Attend the first lecture on Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at 4pm in Cheit C325 (Haas School of Business) and submit an application. Students whose applications are approved will receive the CCN and CEC through e-mail.

The admissions process is competitive so students who contact us between Dec 19 – Jan 15 will be added to the preferential admissions list.
