About the Course:

What is the fastest growing religion in the world? Islam! The irony is this growth is taking place despite the misrepresentation of Islam by both extremist Muslims and the media. The purpose of this class is to correct that image and provide an objective overview of what Islam and Muslims really are. This will be done through a combination of lecture, class discussions, movies, and guest speakers. This class will not be one way learning but two way. After all we are all students and through the course of the semester we will learn from each other. Your performance as a student will be evaluated through class participation and attendance, one project, one midterm, and one final exam.

How to Enroll:

The number of available seats has been increased so sign up while there is still space.

The classroom has been changed from 250 Dwinelle to 20 Barrows.
