Physics GRE Prep
About the Course:
This course is a workshop style seminar designed for students planning to take the physics GRE this November or April. We will review core physics material, with students solving and presenting solutions to problems from old GRE examinations that have been made public by ETS. The course will focus on developing problem solving techniques, and efficiently categorizing problems in a number of ways useful for accurate and speedy analysis.
Additionally, dependent on student interest, we may schedule a few brief graduate student lectures on relevant topics such as pre-exam preparation, and graduate school applications. There will also be at least three class periods devoted to taking full practice exams under “mock” test conditions.
