About the Course:
In this class, our main agenda will be to help children, whose parents have been incarcerated, visit them in prison. Since the annual trip will be taking place in June, this semester will be devoted to fundraising, the arranging of the trip, and talking to families who may be participating in the program. We will also be spending time learning about how parental incarceration affects children, families and communities psychologically and socially, non-profit organizations, attatchment in children, child protective services, and much much more.
How to Enroll:
Our first mandatory class will be on August 27. If you don't arrive on this day, you won't be allowed in the class. In addition, you must complete our application (yes, even those who took the class last semester) which will be due on Tuesday, September 25th at 11:59pm.
