About the Course:
This course gives students an opportunity to work with dj equpment once a week in lecture while learning important lessons in DJing. We have two different lectures. One for Hip hop and one for House/dance music. Students will learn about the music and techincal skills in lecture and will meet with a TA once a week to do hands on training and prepare for final presentations.
We are looking for enthusiastic students who care about music and are interested in picking up valuable skill behind the turntables. Our lecturers are knowledgeable and experienced. Please take advantage of what we have to offer.
How to Enroll:
Please send an email to robin.simmons@gmail.com (for house/dance) or blambert@berkeley.edu (for hip hop) and attach a short essay describing your interest in the course and in the music. Please express your desire to be in the class, and anything that you might have to contribute.
We will send out 20 acceptance emails per section.
