About the Course:
This course is designed to give students an overview of the band Phish. The class will discuss and analyze musical, social, and cultural aspects of the band. No prior music theory knowledge is necessary. There will be weekly listening and reading assignments and a research paper at the end of the course. Attendance is mandatory since the course will be primarily discussion based.
How to Enroll:
The enrollment policy is first come, first served. If too many students enroll, priority will be given to music majors, higher-year students, or students with some knowledge of the band. Come to the first meeting of the course for a better chance of admission.
