About the Course:
"Bond, James Bond." Those words are synonymous with a suave, daring, smart, and larger-than-life figure that has come to be a defining part of pop culture since the release of Dr. No in 1962. This course will simultaneously blend film showings with their literary inspirations to examine how the Bond franchise has mirrored world events, set trends in pop culture, and ultimately be able to form an opinion as to why James Bond has retained his popularity to this very day.
How to Enroll:
Enrollment is limited to 40 students, split evenly between upper and lower divisions. Be sure to attend the first class if you want to be considered for enrollment. If more than 40 students attend the first class, we may have a short application to determine who makes it into the course. Make sure you've read the syllabus so you know what you're signing up for. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to e-mail us!
