About the Course:
This course is for students who are interested in improving their conversational English. This course will accomplish this through discussions, debates, speeches, games, and various other activities that will allow students to practice speaking English. Each activity will also include constructive criticism from the instructor.
The requirements for this course include weekly journal entries, speeches, and a final project. Attendence and participation are required; students may miss up to two class sessions.
How to Enroll:
This class is open to all undergraduate students in any major. International students are especially welcome. This course is not intended for native speakers of English.
To enroll, please attend the first class. After that, CCNs and enrollment information will be emailed to interested students.
The first day of class will be Tuesday, September 7. Class is held from 4-6pm in 246 Dwinelle.
