About the Course:

RAWR! That is the sound a dragon makes right before it breathes flame into your FACE.

By introducing you to a variety of the best (and our favorite) works of fantasy, we hope to encourage a harmless, yet slightly obsessive interest in the genre.

The books we will be reading include: Wizard’s First Rule, The Princess Bride, Eragon, Brightly Burning and Ella Enchanted

So young one – do not fear. For though you do not expect it… it shall be ridiculously fun!

Through weekly discussions, a variety of engaging activities, as well as optional post-class dinners with your facilitators we hope to expand your horizons AND broaden your interests (both!) to include the more important and socially applicable aspects of fantasy literature (yes, that was a long sentence).

But, yeah, the class will be much better than dragon breath in your FACE!

See you there!

How to Enroll:

Show up on the first day of class. A sign-up sheet will be passed around and CCN will be provided to those on the e-mail list.

If you’d like to informally reserve a spot before the first day of class, send us an email saying so.
