About the Course:

We are a group that builds a community and provides a safe place for all artists of all backgrounds and experiences to come together to develope and expand their skills.

Besides focusing on our theatrical performances, we will addressing asian american issues in the media. We will explore the misrepresentation and under-representation of asians in the media.

Everyone will participate in two shows during the semester. We have meetings every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9:30 and attendence is mandatory. Grades are based on commitment and participation. 3 tardies equal an absence and only 3 unexcused absences are allowed.

How to Enroll:

Everyone must have an audition to get into the class. Here's how to sign up:

1) Come to the Information Session on either Tuesday August 31 at 7 PM

2) After the meeting you can sign up for an audition slot. For the audition, prepare a one minute performance that can be anything from doing a monologue to singing a song to acting out a scene from a movie or television show.

3) We will call you within a day or two to let you know if you got in.

If you are worried about the audition, don't be afraid and just have fun! Hope to see you there!
