About the Course:

Hands-On Engineering is a course aimed for students who have an interest in obtaining hands-on engineering experience. Throughout the semester, students will participate in three projects in which they will be responsible for designing, building, and testing their three creations. Each project requires an element of creativity and engineering in order for students to build something that they are proud of. By fostering a healthy environment for team work, students learn the importance of working collectively in order to produce something worthwhile. 

How to Enroll:

Enrollment: Please come to the first class on September 8, 2010, 7pm. During the first class, all students will fill out a short application and be manually enrolled in the class. Only 24 spots are available so please come to the first class if you are interested. 

First Class Session: Wed, 9/8, 7pm @ 240 Bechtel. 

(Please note that our regular class sessions are MW, 6-8 p.m. @ 240 Bechtel. We are only holding the first class session at 7 p.m. on 9/8) 

Prerequisite: There are no prerequisites for this class. You do not need any prior hands-on experience. All majors are welcome.

Administrative Issues: Any and all administrative issues should be addressed directly to the Head Course Facilitator, Kevin Leung, at kevinleung89@gmail.com. He is handling all administrative aspects of the course. This course shall be a 1-unit, P/NP Course.
