About the Course:

The purpose of this class will be to build a thrift shopping community as we discuss our thrifting experiences and tips and together grow to be better thrifters and revampers. Students will learn how to be more creative shoppers and reflect on their experiences. We envision each class starting with a short lecture about consumer values and budgets followed by interactive discussions and hands on activities.

This class is 1 unit pass/not pass. Class will meet once a week with additional optional field trips to be announced later in the semester. In order to pass the class you must have no more than 3 absences, complete reading and writing assignments, and participate in DIY projects. The class will be creative and inspiring and we want people to join who are eager to learn and share.

How to Enroll:

Come to our first class on September 7th at 6pm in 109 Wheeler and we will give instructions on how to enroll in the course.
