About the Course:

This is a DeCal course for students interested in joining and participating in Cal's Concrete Canoe team.  What is Concrete Canoe?  It's a competition in which a group a students create, present, and even race a canoe made of concrete (yes it floats!).

This course bases its passing requirements directly on attendance and participation.  There are no papers or exams, though there is a presentation at the end of the year.  In addition, there is an off-campus time requirement, in which you work on the canoe at UC Berkeley's Richmond Field Station (transportation provided).
