About the Course:
The purpose of this course is to teach students three aspects of media: lomography, digital photography, and post-processing. The class targets mainly beginners.
a. Module 1 – Lomography: Students will investigate the impact of the Holga and the Diana in the late 1980s and its appeal to the lomographic community.
b. Module 2 – Digital Photography and Post-Processing: After discovering the appeal of manual photography, we will move to the advances in digital photography and the basics of point-and-shoot/SLR cameras. After taking the pictures, we will learn the basics of Photoshop to improve the quality of pictures and add special effects.
