About the Course:
Many think that slavery is a thing of the past. Nothing can be farther from the truth. This course seeks to expose and raise awareness about the different manifestations of slavery and its prevalence in our world today. This class will meet once a week. The focus of this course will be on sex trafficking, debt bondage, and other types of forced labor. We will cover a basic understanding of the historical, cultural, social, political, and economic factors of modern slavery and human trafficking. The class will entail lectures and group discussions, selected readings, group presentations, and group projects.
How to Enroll:
CCNs and CECs will be given out after the first day of class. Class will
