About the Course:

Each week, we will create a new dessert or learn a decorating technique.  At the end of each class, you should have 2 finished products, one for you and one for the graders. Further information will be handed out on the syllabus on the first day of class.

Grade Breakdown:

25% Attendance/Participation

35% Weekly Write-ups (should be e-mailed)

15% Midterm

25% Final


Weekly readings consist of recipes, decorating techniques, and background information about a particular plant, fungi, or microbe. (These will be posted up on bspace)

Weekly Write-ups:

-Short summary of what was covered in the previous week

- An interesting fact that you learned in the previous week

-E.C. include a picture of your final product

How to Enroll:

Please bring the completed survey/application to the first day of class.  Afterwards, you will be e-mailed a CCN to enroll in the course.
