About the Course:

In this class you will learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube. This class is for beginners only! If you already know how to solve the Rubik's Cube then take the Advanced Rubik's Cube class which is Th 5-6p in 9 Evans (advanced Rubik's cube/speedcubing is a different deCal with different CCNs) . We have no restrictions on who can join the class: you can be any major with any kind of background.

Further Information:

In this class we will cover a layer-by-layer method on how to solve the 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. We will go over a step in class and then break up into groups and have everyone practice with the step we have gone over. Solving the Rubik's Cube will take practice outside of class. In order to pass the class you must be able to solve the Rubik's cube on the last day of class in 10 minutes or less, using any method we have gone over in class, and without using any notes. You should also have no more than two absences (we will not take attendance on 9/10/09, the first day of class).

How to Enroll:

The CCNs are public and therefore first come, first serve -- enroll as soon as know that you want to take the class! If you are interested in taking this class then show up to section on the first day. ****The class is now full and the waitlist is full. You can no longer enroll in this class****
