About the Course:

We will examine bioethical principles in the Jewish legal tradition, as well as their relation to the ethics of modern scientific practice. Topics will include circumcision, pain relief, euthanasia, artificial insemination, and abortion. Doctors, rabbis, and other specialists will lecture weekly, offering insight into our topics of study.
