Affordable Housing Issues
About the Course:
This course aims to inform students about current affordable housing issues. Some topics will include the History of Affordable Housing in the U.S., the importance of affordable housing in our very own Bay area as well as the pervasiveness of homelesness in Berkeley, Habitat For Humanity, and Green Building. Students will be required to go on one community service workday during the semester. We will also bring in speakers from all over the Bay Area to talk about their own work and much more!
