Iranian Percussion: The Daf
About the Course:
The daf is a frame drum that plays a significant role in various music traditions across the Middle East.
The goal of this course is to teach basic Iranian rhythms, as well as some Arabic rhythms and to teach the basic skills necessary for playing the instrument.
How to Enroll:
For more information (about enrollment, finding access to a daf for the course, etc.) please show up on the first day of class, which will be September 2, 2009.
