About the Course:
This DeCal will introduce students to the world of political reporting and journalistic writing. The course is sponsored by the Berkeley Political Review and will provide detailed instruction on the essential parts of magazine writing: from developing a story idea to editing an article for publication. We're confident that by the end of the semester, students will have the chops to write for BPR or any other campus publication. No previous experience is necessary; all students are encouraged to apply! (See syllabus for more details)
