About the Course:

In MSDOSX, you'll learn how to write Mac and iPhone applications.

The two hour class is divided into lecture and lab periods, each approximately one hour long. We'll start with lectures introducing the basics, and move on to more advanced topics.  Eventually the entire time will be devoted to working on your (individual or partner) projects.  This semester, in addition to our required end-of-the-year presentation, we'll have an optional mid-semester (to match Stanford's schedule) presentation of your projects at Apple Computer!

Prior programming experience is recommended.  Also, if you want to make an iPhone app, you'll probably need a Mac of your own.  The Soda Mac lab is too old to run the iPhone SDK, and the new CITRIS Mac lab won't be finished for a month or so after the class starts.
