About the Course:
A different part of basic journalism will be covered in class each week, drawing on experience from all editorial departments of the Daily Cal. We will also invite journalism professors from the Graduate School of Journalism and practicing journalists from regional media outlets.
The class will culminate in a final project. Students--working individually or in pairs--will pitch, report and produce feature projects consisting of an article and another visual or multimedia element. At the end of the course, final project articles could be submitted for possible publication in the Daily Cal or another news publication.
How to Enroll:
The course will be open to all students, but will also serve as training for new Daily Cal editorial staffers.
Please either email or come to the first day of class to receive a Course Entry Code.
**Update: The course is filling up quickly. Please email to be added to the list.
