About the Course:
In this class you will learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube. This class is for beginners only! If you already know how to solve the Rubik's Cube then take the Advanced Rubik's Cube class which can be found here: http://decal.org/675 . We have no restrictions on who can join the class: you can be any major with any kind of background.
In this class we will cover a layer-by-layer method on how to solve the 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. We will go over a step in class and then break up into groups and have everyone practice with the step we have gone over. We will also give out a handout covering the step we have covered for the day so it will be possible to practice at home. In fact solving the Rubik's Cube will take practice outside of class. In order to pass the class you must be able to solve the Rubik's cube on the last day of class using any method we have gone over in class without using any notes.
We will have Rubik's Cubes for sale so if you don't have one you can buy one from us the first or second week of class for $10. If you plan on bringing your own cube make sure that it has the standard colors on it.

How to Enroll:
If you are interested in taking this class then show up to one of the sections on the first day. During the first class we will explain how to get into the class. We will most likely have everyone send us an e-mail with a short paragraph explaining why we should let them into the class.
