About the Course:

Students will use artistic expression, creative writing, music and other sound tracks, and digital photography as storytelling tools.  Skills will be presented through class discussion, group participation, lecture, readings, guest speakers, viewing work in the field, and 'hands-on' computer lab instruction.  Students will learn basic scriptwriting and storyboarding techniques which form the basis for short multi-media presentations.  By the end of the course, students will have the skills necessary to use this format as an option for documentation, presenting research, and building digital narratives. Lectures will be held in Kroeber Hall, Room 238 and lab sessions will be held in Wheeler Hall, Room 212.

How to Enroll:

No previous art or technology experience is required.  Ample time will be spent during class in the computer lab.  We are asking anyone interested in taking this course to show up for our first class meeting on Monday, January 28, in Kroeber Hall, Room 238.
