About the Course:

The primary goal of this class is to help students successfully prepare for graduate school in psychology and/or neuroscience. As such, the class is geared toward upper division students who plan to apply, or are considering applying, to graduate programs in psychology and/or neuroscience. Over the course of the class, we will focus on and explore various graduate school options including Ph.D., Psy. D. and Masters programs, as well as touch upon other possible routes (i.e., medical school, M.D./Ph.D. programs, law school, business school, jobs). We will learn about: choosing and applying to schools, taking the GRE, garnering interview skills and applying for grants. While there will be guest speakers each week to present information to the class, we also hope to create an open forum of discussion in order to foster a sense of community and to demystify the application process. We would like this to be a dynamic class and hope to tailor the course to fit the needs and desires of the students, as is appropriate.

How to Enroll:

This decal course is limited to juniors and seniors.  There will be 20 open spots, available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
