Do you like R. Crumb, Dan Clowes, Windsor McCay or Chris Ware? Would you like to know where they came from, or where comics are going? Do you even know who these people are? YOU SHOULD! Independent and Underground comics (or “graphic novels”) are a totally unique medium which are more sophisticated now than EVER. JOIN IN on this fascinating discourse! What do these comics say about society? Why are comics being manufactured in a totally different medium nowadays? What happened in the EIGHTIES??
