About the Course:

Interested in learning a new language? (Or interested in finding out what your parents are really talking about when they speak in Taiwanese at home?) Interested in understanding more about Taiwan – its people, food, customs and culture – perhaps even sampling some Taiwanese snacks?

The Taiwanese Language Decal is designed to teach students the Taiwanese language, and also help students gain a better understanding of Taiwan, its people and culture. The Decal is offered at the Beginner,Intermediate and Advanced level which meet twice a week (MW or TTh) from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

The beginner level is designed for students with none, or extremely little experience in Taiwanese.

The intermediate level is designed for students who have taken the beginner level course, or are able to speak and understand Taiwanese at a basic level.

How to Enroll:

Please show up to the section in which you wish to attend. CCN and CEC will be passed out during the week of the free course add/drop deadline.

Please note: We are unable to give you CCN and CEC if you do not attend to the classes before the codes are passed out. It is also highly recommended to attend the first class.
