About the Course:

This course is intended to prepare students for the Actuarial Exam 1/P, administered by the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society. In this class, concepts of probability will be taught that include general probability, univariate and multivariate probability distributions, and other special topics.  Each session will consist of an hour of lecture on specific topics relating to the exam followed by an hour of discussion and independent/group study.  Hopefully, after finishing the decal, each student will have the confidence and readiness to ace the exam!

*Class will meet on Tuesdays 4-6pm and will begin on February 2nd. 

How to Enroll:

We will be handing out the course control number and individual CECs to students who are interested in enrolling in the course on the first day of class (Feb 2nd).  The class will be closed for enrollment after the THIRD week of the decal (Feb 16th).
