Understanding China from a Business Perspective
About the Course:
This course will allow students to acquire an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture, governmental administration, industrial outlook, and economy from a business perspective. Class activities, discussions, presentations, documentaries, and current events will empower students with the fundamental tools that will benefit them in future business endeavors with China.Â Enthusiastic coordinators will lead class discussion, teach vital skills, and encourage student to participations in an engaging learning environment. We will also bring in guest speakers to talk about their first hand business and personal experiences in China. During this course, student will look at the underlying cultures through language, beliefs, religion, philanthropic customs, food-ordering and etiquettes skills in order to increase students’ comfort of engaging in business related activities in such a major player in the global economy today.
